Thick and Creamy Vegan Icing- FunPod

I really love butter-cream icing it’s fluffiness and creaminess. I struggled to find a good dairy free icing as so many were flavourless and body-less.. this is so good and honestly no-one would know it’s dairy-free. Let your kids lick the bowl or maybe you’ll want to save it for yourself.
Makes enough for a two layered cake or a whole batch of cupcakes.
3 tablespoons Nuttelex Original Margarine spread
3 & 3/4 cups of icing sugar
2-3 teaspoons of almond milk
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
Food colouring (if desired)
Place the Nuttelex into the mixer and place onto high to whip up into a creamy batter.
Then add icing sugar slowly on low to mix through sugar. Add vanilla and whip up fast again.
Then slowly add the almond milk.
May only need 2 tablespoons depending on thickness you desire.
Add food colouring if desire a different colour for kids cakes or flavours if prefer a different flavour such as peppermint, chocolate or strawberry.
Use a flat spreading knife to ice your cake. The icing should spread easily and cover a two-layered cake. (Tip: have a cup of hot water handy to dip your knife into to spread the icing easier).
